Catherine is a Hospitality Management Professional with more than 35 years experience in both the Food and Beverage Industry and the Hotel Industry. Catherine moved from Hospitality to join the Provincial Government – working for both the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles and the Ministry of Health in the capacity of Operational and Change Management.
After 12 years with the Province of BC, Catherine was blessed to be offered the position of Director of Development for the Diocese of Victoria. Over 4 years, in this capacity Catherine raised more than $5M for both the Bishop’s Annual Appeal and St. Andrew’s High School.
She is now working as a consultant to assist the Canadian Carmelite Charitable Society (CCCS) to ensure the sustainability of their two retreat houses in Deroche, BC and Parklands County, AB.
Catherine has sat on many boards and committees throughout her career, including:
- Catholic Foundation of Vancouver Island – Present
- Diocese of Victoria, Finance Committee Chair
- Sacred Heart Parish – Parish Pastoral Council
